Hi! Just wanted to check if anyone has successfully unlocked their phones through any one of these services. Just want to make sure before I make the jump.
Lots of folks saying they've done it "successfully" here:

Is the file really a jpeg? Is it CMYK or RGB?

I haven't ventured into the HD world yet so I'm not up to speed on the screen res needed for HD. I do however seem to recall posts lamenting for higher res screens for HD playback. If that is the case, then resolution independence would be a must. Otherwise the UI would become so small it would become unusable. Am I way off base here?

I'm not seeing (http://adium.im/sparkle/?year=2011&week=13&graph=line&normalized=1#model) many MacBook Airs getting used (see the "Model" graph).

Apparently there was AT&T iPad 2s available today. Did anyone pick one up?
How do you know? I called to ask and they said they got nothing today as they get no shipments on Sunday.

Alright lets start with simple here, reinstall XCode from a downloaded image from Apple.
I'll have to give that a try. I thought it was an error in the code somewhere and there is almost nothing relevant online about the error (or if I find something people say they fixed it but don't say how :( )
For now I have a workaround of just creating new projects and copying the authors code in and running it that way for now.

I'm so happy I sold my copy of VPC on eBay a couple weeks ago :D
I've been using Parallels with Win XP for a brief time, but it already appears to be far more stable and responsive than VPC ever was, even under Classic (it really had problems moving to OS X). I really don't blame Microsoft though for killing it, the product was inherently inferior to the latest offerings on the market, with little to no chance of ever catching up.

The additional gestures are pretty nice.
My favourites are swiping to go back in Safari and the swipe to switch Spaces. It feels iOS like in that it's really smooth. A bit buggy too, but that's to be expected at this stage.

Hi guys,
I'm brushing up (aka relearning OpenGL) and for some reason my line will not draw, but my triangle does (I added the triangle to make sure I could render things, the line is not hidden because of the triangle).
Here is my code:
void RenderScene()
{
one Hundred Red Roses Bouquet
Red Roses Photos
Flower Type red roses
Rose flower pictures 03
flowers,red flowers,red rose,

Actually, if all you did is format the drive (and you didn't install), it may very well be possible to get all of your data back. You'll need another OS to boot from, but if you manually recreate the partition table, it's likely that the windows format did not quite reach where the HFS+ directory structure is stored and only overwrote the partition table itself and parts of the EFI partition.
Once you're booted from a good OS, you can rewrite the partition table from Terminal. This will have the benefit that your existing volume won't need to be reformatted. You may need a utility like Disk Warrior to clean up the directory structure afterward.
First, you'll need to figure out the disk number of the hard drive. If you're booted from the machine (rather than a different machine, using the drive as an external), it's going to be /dev/disk0. The following will rewrite the partition table to near-default (possibly a little bigger primary volume):
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/disk0 bs=512 count=10 conv=sync,noerror
sudo gpt destroy /dev/disk0
sudo gpt create /dev/disk0
sudo gpt add -i1 -b40 -s409600 -tC12A7328-F81F-11D2-BA4B-00A0C93EC93B /dev/disk0
sudo gpt add -i2 -b409640 -t48465300-0000-11AA-AA11-00306543ECAC /dev/disk0
Then use Disk Utility (or preferably Disk Warrior) to repair the directory structure.
If you don't want to do all that or can't, you can use Disk Utility to format the drive from the Mac OS X Install disk. I've seen situations where that still wouldn't work, so you may have to do the first two commands anyway.

Over the course of time, mobiles will displace consoles.
We can already mirror the iPad 2 onto HDTVs. Not the best news for dedicated consoles. It's not perfect, but it's a powerful portent. Dedicated devices (as opposed to convergence) are destined to DIE.
iCal this. Then in 2-3 years revisit this comment and be astounded.
You have your baskets mixed up. Apples go with apples, oranges with oranges. No reason to have a mobile device to play games on a large screen TV. Consles are no longer one trick ponies. Did you happen to catch this little tibit:Valve details PS3 Steam, and why Sony has best Portal 2 release (http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2011/04/here-is-how-youll-access-your-pc-copy-of-portal-2-via-the-ps3-disc.ars)
I'll summarize the important parts for you:
1: The fact that you'll get a free second copy of the game on your PC or Mac along with your PS3 purchase certainly doesn't hurt.
2: When you put your PS3 copy of Portal 2 in your system, hitting the select key will bring up the Steam overlay. From there you can play against friends who have the PC or Mac copies of the game, access and chat with your friend list, look at your achievements—it's fully integrated with your existing Steam account. You'll also be able to access your free copy of the game on the PC or Mac
With your "reasoning", people won't be buying large screen flat screens because they can get TV on their mobile, like I do now.

I feel like a addict. I'll kiss a man for my jailbreak.
I know people are working hard to get it done, and there is no one who appreciates their work more than I.
There're creative ways to show your appreciation, kissing a man might not be enough motivation. Bust out some knee pads, then turn 'round, it ain't nuthin' but a butt ache; everyone cries their first time.
Take one for the team and git'r done.

Anyone notice that Volume Logic does not work in iTunes 7 or is that just me?
Well, I do know the Volume Logic is **still** in Beta testing for Intel Macs. I wasn't aware that VL for the PowerPC chips. was encountering playback problems.
