Won't let me purchase it yet, though. Not the one I wanted but it's better than the Griffin case I have right now. 14.99 is a good deal.
Thanks for the heads-up. Very nice. I certainly like SwitchEasy Nude for my iPad, and if I wanted to "colorize" my iPod, I'd get this.... but I'm really liking my Griffin Reveal at the moment.

I have an old 2007 Black MacBook. Randomly one day my old charger stopped working and I thought it was broken and threw it out and got a new one (Stupidly didn't test it on other computers).
Now here are the problems. This new charger worked for 3-4 days and has suddenly stopped working. It does charge my siblings macbooks and for some reason their old chargers work on mine, however, i feel its almost inevitable for their chargers to die on me if I use them. Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

A vector file is a vector, is a vector. They are resolution independent UNLESS they have an embedded bitmap. But, if you did a live trace and then deleted the source file, then the resulting (live traced) vector is resolution independent. Meaning, that you can scale it up from postal stamp to billboard size without loss in original quality. However, it might look different when scaled depending on how well you did the original trace.
The client calling to say that you need to supply a file with a different resolution make zero sense, because a vector has nothing to do with resolution. They don't know what they are talking about so you should get clarification before going further.

Software update doesn't see the update on my 11" MacBook Air. The iDVD update did show up though...
Curious if you are on 10.6.6 or 10.6.5? Possibly this might be a 10.6.5 issue only?
I didn't see the iDVD update because that appears to be 10.6.6 only, and I'm still on 10.6.5.

"3. What happens if something goes wrong? I have the original install disks, but... I don't know"
Um... you go back to whatever OS you were using before.
Seriously.
Suggestion:
Do not, repeat DO NOT, install Lion _over_ the OS you are already using.
Instead, install it onto a clean, unused partition somewhere.
The idea is to EXPERIMENT with it, and NOT to use it as "your main OS".
Not yet, anyway.
Got it?

Yeah right like the average non-dork actually read post #6 on their iPad. LOL
Gimme a break... FAIL!
Geeks always live in a whole other world than the average person.
I know because I'm a geek, but mostly don't have geek friends! :)
Nobody on this site ever gets that! LOL
By the way, Steve Jobs himself admitted that 75% of websites use Flash and that he was hoping it would get to 50% soon. Soon? What date on the calender is "soon?"
Now on my iPhone, that's not a really big deal. But I'd used a tablet for more and different things than an iPhone.
If you spend over $500 for a computer/tablet device that doesn't show 75% of the web content, I would think you'd be disappointed.
1. If you go to their site on iPad, the video works. So obviously you don't own one.
2. Ever heard of Flash blockers? Many people use it.
3. Please, stick with your floppy drives while the world moves ahead. I am you are picking up the internet taps with your Flash-ad enabled device.

Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to get a sticky with the title along the lines of "Buy now or wait" ?
Once opened, the sticky could have the overused words "If you need it, buy it, if you don't, wait" as well as a link to the MacRumors buyer's guide. More specific information could also be added depending on the forum location. (Such as MacBook Pro)
This question gets asked daily, and I feel it might help users before asking.
Thank you.

But that is there in Crackdown. Blisfully forget the missions and try and climb the highest most seemingly inaccessable building and you get a reward. The seemingly harder to get - the reward from collecting the orb is vastly greater to an easy to access one.
Discover more hidden ones and the reward is bigger. Crackdown is actually full of these mate and they are in really cleverly located locations.
Trying to find the hidden ones leaves you with such a massive exploration quest. I''ve spent most of my time in the game just hunting down the agility orbs. :)
GTA - I enjoy for about an hour messing about - but stories of drug gangs, shooting cops and beating up prostitutes never really captivates me as a story......
Oh yea I know what you mean there, that's what I said about the Castlevania style upgrade-related expansion. I'm a fan of both methods.
GTA story? No thanks. It's just the dialogue and the chat radio stations that do it for me. Story as a whole seems sort of disposable. I'm actually more prone to just downloading a save file from Gamefaqs and just driving about.

Yeah I use a microfiber cloth, one I got with my HDTV haha. I've also amassed a couple of those black ones from Apple though I prefer the thicker microfiber cloth. Cleans great, takes everything off without feeling like I'm digging into the AG screen.

T3 and that's it (www.t3.co.uk).
I've had every copy since issue 1, I don't know why 'cause it seems to be on a downward slide quite rapidly.

im getting "this device isnt eligible for the requested build" error in itunes. any takers? thanks
I had the same problem. Found the solution in comments to the Dev Team Blog post.
I'm copying and pasting the instructions below, and it worked for me.
Check your hosts file to make sure 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com is commented out. It's a file that the operating system uses to resolve domain names to IP addresses.
On Windows it's located at C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
On Windows 7 you might need to Right-click on Notepad and 'run-as administrator' to be able to edit the file. Then browse to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc.
In OSX it's located at /private/etc/hosts
The best way to edit the file here is run the following from the terminal app
sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
When it asks you for your password use the same on you use to log into the system.
Add a # before the 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
Press Control O to save, hit enter, and control X to exit the editor

fantastic, now they're really going to try to push this pay-to-play crap down our throats even more. everyone hates it. they are in some serious denial over there. they have made terrific games but ruined them with their crap pricing model, which pisses me off cause i really wanted to play them. i know theyre not successful cause ive been watching the top grossing apps and NONE of their 'freemium' apps have been in the top 100 for very long. the way i understand there are two scenarios, and both of them suck:
1) you play for free and are crippled and/or limited in what you are able to do
2) you pay to play ridiculous prices in order to play the game to its full potential
both of these situations are a psychological mindfsuk, and either way you cant really enjoy it cause youre on a countdown timer. VERY frustrating.
its actually pretty amazing how narrow-minded (im being very generous here) they are. for example, they could make a fortune off of the touch pets app if they made it completely playable from the start and just allowed people to buy their dog toys, yards, etc.. and especially buy toys for other peoples dogs and take advantage of peoples desire to pay for a gesture (thats how valentines day works). with the eliminate app they couldve made a ton of money and gotten tons of people playing by charging a modest upfront price, and then they couldve made-it-rain with all the money they would get from selling different maps and such.
they are fighting an uphill psychological battle with this bs pricing plan which they are GOING to lose no matter how great the games are. they cant live off investment funding forever.
